FULLIRTON PTA MEETS WITH MRS. NAT JOHNSON The first' fall meeting was held by the executive board of the Ful lerton PTA, following a luncheon at the home of Mrs Nat Johnson on Nebo street. Covers were laid for nine guests, an'i the afternoon waa devoted to a business session presided over O "rs. Johnson, president. Plans were made for a member ship drive, which will be under the direction of trs. A. J. Ellison and Mrs. Jim Stone. Mrs.' Ed Kotok, Mrs. George Neuner and Mrs. Arthur Lamka have been ap pointed to the program committee. The legislation chairman, Mrs. R. H. SUTHERLIN GRANGE HEARS REPORT ON POTATO DISEASES Sutherlin Community Grange met Wednesday evening, Sept. 13, with Worthy Master Charles Wahl presiding. The agriculture chair man, reported on potatoe diseases. Home eeonomica chairman Mrs. Phreda Wahl announced the next Grange meeting will be a potluck and birthday dinner. Pomona will meet in Sutherlin Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. with a potluck dinner. Mrs. Maude Moore was reported aa ill. Mra. The topic, "Definition of Happiness," will be presented by Mrs. Sidney Domenico with Mrs. Ed Radigan presenting the topic, "Self Analy sis." The first fall meeting of the chapter was held at the home of Mrs. Frank O'Brien in Myrtle Creek with Mrs. Wirkham, co-hostess. GALLA FAMILY REUNION ENJOYABLE AFFAIR AT WINSTON RANCH Four generations of the Galla family, represented by John Galla Sr., E. W. Galla, Dorothy Coble and two year old Tommy Coble, were present for the family re union held at the Albert Galla ranch at Winston on Sept. S. Din ner was served by the river on a long table decorated with a bount iful supply of fine cantaloupes pre sented by O. O. Matthews for the occasion. The children enjoyed swimming ouring the afternoon and the others visited and took moving picturea. Those present for the day were John Galla Sr., Mr. and Mri. Al bert Galla, Mrs. and Mra.
