A week ago Saturday th Beavers smacked Bradley, 69-61, to win the NIT title. Whereas in their first meeting CCNY came from behind in the second half and gradually drew away, Bradley almost pulled the gam out of th fir in th last 20 seconds last night. Luis Marques singled, Johnny Rucker beat out a bunt and Steve Meaner popped out. Then Mickey Rocco slapped a rol ler which Stevens threw wild to second, filling the bases. Rose, th leagu champs, won in a breez over Ben son, 50-, while Fullerton beat Riversid 30-1. Fullerton Peewees. also leagu champa, beat Benson 20-5, while Ros dumped River sid Peewees 16-1. They tied for scoring honors, in their game, each piling up 12 points. Harp Runner-up reewee Don Harp, Fullerton. was runner-up for scoring honors. accumulating 11 points for his team. Riverside's Ray Carter scored the only point for his team in the Peewe game, while Cap tain Fred Butts, Riverside, scored tn only point lor Ms team, in the Heavies game.
