Knox performed the impressive single ring ceremony at four o'clock In the afternoon In the presence of 200 friends and relatives. An all-pink motif was carried out In the decorations to match the gowns worn by the hrlcie and her attendants. Huge floor bas kets of gladioli, flanked by can delabra holding tall pink tapers banked the altar. Decorations were in charge of Miss Carrie Miller. Karl Kaulkner performing the ceremony at ten o'clock in the morning. The altar was banked with baskets of gladioli and croft lilies. The bride was lovely In a cocoa brown gabardine suit with white accessories and a corsfge of pink rosebuds. Grow played sottly on the pine organ and accompanied Miss Marilyn Dixon, who sang, "Because," preceding the cere mony and at the close of the ser vice sang, 'The Lord's Prayer." Both Mrs. Grow and Miss Dixon were In pink formal gowns. Mrs. Grow played the traditional wed ding marches. All of the bride's attendants were classmates in the 1948 Rose burs hleh school class. The caviles were lighted by Miss Lor raine Losee anil Miss Lditn i'olrot. who wore pink dotted Swiss gowns with wristlets of pink rose uds. Roy Engtls Following the ceremony, a chicken dinner was served at the rtovnl Coachman cafe, at which time a beautiful wedding cake was cut by the bridal couple and served to Mr. and Min. The bride was graduated from Glide hich school in 1!MS and the bridegroom was graduated from Glide hinh school In 1W8 and is now encaged In the lum ber Industry. Miss Irene Trapalls was maid of honor and wore a gown of pik dotted Swiss fashioned with a full skirt made w 1th three tiers of ruf flies. Miss Nancv Radahaugh and Miss Arrivth Andrus were brides maids and wore gowns of pink or gandy fashioned to match the maid of honor's. The attendants wore halo bonnets and carried co loniid bouquets of Shirley Temple gladioli. David Piper of Independence was bt man for his brother and Tom Carter and Charles Taylor were ushers. The bride's mother wore a pink flowered crene dress with navy blue accessories and a corsage of white carnations. The bride groom's mother wore a grey suit with black accessories and a cor sage of pink carnations. A rccentlon followed In the church parlors. Baskets of pink gladioli formed the room decora tions. The bride's table was cov ered with a lace cloth over a pink foundation and was centered with a three-tiered cake decorated In pink and while and topped by a bridal couple and flanked by can delabi a holding pink candles. Dec orations were in charge of Mrs. Karl Agee. aunt of the bride, and Mm. Rov Havens. Mrs. O. D. McAllister and Mrs. E. P. Blundell, aunts of the bride, poured. Mm. Ralph Sin clair and Mm. William E. Albin, aunts of the bridegroom, served the cake. Mrs. L. A. Miles and Mis. Grant Olwrn assisted in serving: Miss Carrie Miller had charge of the guest book and Miss Mary Mchinnev was In charge of (he gifts. For traveling the bride chose a grey suit with black accessories and a corsage of fucshla-colored gladioli. The delightful event portrayed an enjoyable concert of all local members in "Jam session" with a number ot out standing soloist numbers. Kansas, who ith her husband and their four-year-old daughter, Barbara, and two-year-old twins, John and Joan, accompanied by Miss Ma ble Riley, spent a week visiting at the Patton home. After a short wedding trip to California, the couple will be at home in Alameda, Calif., where Mr. Stora is stationed by the U. S. navy.
