These two lets of twins, pictured above with their mothers, were born in Mercy Hospital on the same day, Sept. IS, and arrived about 16 hours apart. They make IS sets of twins born at the local hospital in 1 948. On the left are the Kennedy twins, both boys, born to Mr. and Mrs. Archie Kennedy of the B and B Lumber Company, Yon calla. Patrick Dale, born at 6 p.m., weighed five pounds and Michael Charles, born at 6:10 p.m., weighed six pounds, one ounce. Already nicknamed, Mike is on the left, and Pat is on the right, are the Northrop twins, born to Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Northrop, 1625 Rosamond Street, Roseburg. The boy on the right of his mother was born at 2:28 a.m., weighed seven pounds, two ounces, and was named Cerald Eugene.
