UP))' The State Board of Control de cided yesterday to ask the next legislature to make state depart ments pay $200.00 year to the state restoration fund, or double the present amount. The fund ' Is the state's self-insurance system. The board said fire losses to state property in the past two years total 1198.000. and that even the $200.00(1 annual assess ment might not be adequate. ' Each state activity now pays i Id cents a vear for each $100 of property It controls, but the new fee would be 2S cents a hundred. State employes, who now get 5 cents a mile for operating their private cars on state business, will get a boost to 6 cents on September 1, the board decided.
