Women of the community are invited and are asked to bring their own sandwiches and a cup, as well as flowers and their fa vorite vase. Coffee and dessert will be f urnished by thehostesses. Tommy, have been spending the winter in Indiana visiting her parents. The family will come to Roseburg this summer to make their home. Kilborn of Roseburg left Wednesday for Rochester, Minn., where her mother, Mrs. Earl H. Thompson, of Eugene, entered the Mayo Clinic this week. Visiting at Clayton Home Mrs Lora Jurin, who came to Rose burg to attend the funeral of her brother, Grant Clayton, Is remaining for a visit with Mrs. Rose Enimitt Clayton on South Pine street. Mrs. Clayton, who has been quite ill, is reported to be improved. Mrs. Williams Home Mrs. Fred Williams, Jr., who recently was discharged from Mercy hos pital, following surgery, is re ported to be convalescing satis factorily at her home at Umpqua. Six directors will be elected, two for a one-year term, two for a two-year term and two for a three-year term, with two directors to be elected for a three-year term annually thereafter. Standing committees of three members each, appointed by the president and approved by the directors, shall be: sanctions, street decorations, publicity, spe cial sales events, and finance. Placing of advertising in news papers of general circulation and use of billboards, posters, motor bus placards, picture slitles and films, shall In no way be affected by this agreement; but solicitors presenting any oi me lonowing matters shall be refused unless they present written credentials from the secretary issuea unaer the authority of the sanction committee: (A) Forms of advertising, not above excepted, including pro grams, hotel registers, caDineis, menu cards, time books, song books, trading stamps, etc., and requests for donations in casn or eoods in lieu of such advertising: IB) donations in cash or goods to churches, lodges, clubs, societies or other organizations: C) pur chase of tickets, except when solicitation by an organization is confined within its own memoer-shit). When credentials are presented the member solicited is bv no means bound by the approval of the sanction committee, out is free to use his own Judgment. The committee is requested to use lis best judgment as to mat ters under headings (B) and (C) above, when issuing credentials for worthy causes wnen uecmea advisable. The finance committee's duties shall be to formulate and make effective all plans for the secur ing of needed llnances over ana above such funds as are raised through the payment of associa tions dues and allotted to the association by the Roseburg Chamber of Commerce.
