Line play Wfs exception ally good, he said, and added that he had no regrets for the loss, as the Indians showed up fundamen tally better and completely out charged the Pirates, who out manned Roseburg in age, weight and experience. Special praise was given by -Sherwood to Lloyd Mayborne, rugped tackle, who was tagged by pressbox men as Marshfleld's fifth backfield man with his fre- I quent tackles from the rear; Dick Bonebrake, Ileetlooled luiIhacK, and Bob Sanders, quarterback. Sherwood stated that in his be lief, the difference in the victory was Marshfleld's flashy back, Rungy, who turned in the vic tor's scores.
