Roseburg Rebekah Lodge will meet at 8 o'clock Tuesday night at the hall for the last meeting of the retiring noble grand, Aurella McGhehey. The Rebekah's Christmas party was an event of the meeting in December. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur McGhehey and Mr. and Mrs. Ar thur Hudnell furnished the treats and refreshments and members having birthdays the last six momhs were special guests of honor. Lena Poole and Naomi Murdock presented a charming program and Santa Claus appear ed and distributed gifts. DANCE TO BE HELD AT FACILITY TONIGHT The V. F. W. Auxiliary will sponsor a formal dance at the recreation hall of the Veterans hospital this evening, January 13, at 8 o'clock and all members and friends are most cordially Invited to attend. A radio phonograph will be of ficially presented to the Veterans at the hospital during the eve ning. GREEN P.-T. A. ANNOUNCES MEETING The Green P.-T. A. will meet Wednesday night at 8 o'clock at the schoolhouse. There will be a hobby exhibit and those attend ing are asked to bring articles of their hobbles to display. GLENGARY SEWING CLUB TO ELECT OFFICERS i Glengary Sewing Club mem bers having gifts for the bride-to-be, Marlon Pitts, are requested to bring them to the meeting to be held Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Fox. Vine, recently enlisted in the new I regular Army, according to Mas ter Sergeant Wayne ,W. Morri son, commander of the Med ford Army recruiting station. Private Falconer enlisted for a period of three years, selecting the armored forces, and is now undergoing preliminary training at Ft. Lewis, Wash. Upon com pletion of his basic instruction, he will be assigned to an organ ization. John H. Falconer, his brother, is presently serving with the Navy in San Francisco, as a chief petty officer.
