Wilson, of Miami. Florida, were married February 22 at nine o'clock in the morning in the Navy chapel at Great Lakes. Il linois. Chaplain Preston D. Par sons, Lt. (J. G.) U. S. N. R.. per formed the double ring ceremony in the presence of a few close friends. During the ceremony, organ music was played softly. Edgar Bobo ARM 1-c. U. S. N. R., was the only attendant. The bride was attractive In a two-piece aqua-colored dress fash ioned with peplum effect and tied at the back with a large butter fly bow. Her hat was black with tiny aqua bows and her accesso ries were black. She wore a cor sage of orchids. Following the ceremony, a breakfast was served at the Hos tess House at the base for the wedding party, after which the couple left for Chicago on their honeymoon. For traveling the bride chose a red dressmaker suit with black accessories. The bride attended the local schools and was graduated from Roseburg Senior High School in 1942, after which she attended Behnke-Walker Business College in Portland, when she took a posi tion with the United Photo Ser vice In Portland. The bridegroom was graduated from Miami Edi son Senior High School in 19-11 and attended University of Mi ami. He enlisted in the Navv in 1942 and served with the crew on the U. S. S. Monrovia. He wears decorations representing the American Theater, Eurooean-Af-rican with one star. Asiatic-Pacific with six stars, Philippine lib eration with two stars and the Victory Medal. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was charming in a green-colored dress maker suit with black accessories. Her corsage was a large orchid. Mrs. G. M. lies, matron of honor, was attractive in a black suit with matching accessories and a gar denia corsage. E. T. Partin acted as best man. The bride's mother wore a black ensemble and a cor sage of gardenias. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Ralph A. Moore and sons, Leon and James; Floyd Whit latch, Mr. anil Mrs. K. T. Partin, Mr. and Mrs. G. M. lies, Mr. and Mrs. Earl lilakely and daughter, Phyllis. The bride was graduated from Days Creek High School and spent the last three years serving with the Wacs. The bridegroom was graduated from Stockton High School and served in the Navy 40 months. Following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Blakely left for Cali fornia on their honeymoon. UNITED WORKERS CLASS MEETS FRIDAY AT HOME OF MRS. H. B. CHURCH The United Workers Class of the First Christian Church met Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. H. B. Church. Because of illness in her home, Mrs. A. M. Neal, president, was unable to be present and Mrs. Mahle P. Tavlor conducted the business meeting. Mrs. C. G. Stanton acted as pro gram chairman for Mrs. James Vowel, who was in Portland. Those present were: Mrs. Annie Abel, Mrs. Eva Schuett, Mrs. Helen Sanders. Harold West, brother of the bride, and Stanley Long, brother of the bridegroom, were witnesses. The bride wore a suit designed with a brown skirt and brown checked jacket.
