Mr. and Mrs. Kogers were married In Maple Grove, Wisconsin, Nov. 5, 1KT with Kev. Alvin White, Baptist preacher performing the cere mony. Seven children came to bless their home, and Monday all seven, who came from all over the United States, and one from Italy were present to help them celebrate. CONCERT ASSOCIATION TO OPEN SEASON WITH WORLD-FAMOUS 'CELLIST Gregor Hatigorsky, world-famous 'cellist, will open the Rose burg Community Concert asso ciation's 1945-46 season Friday night, November 16, at eight-fifteen o'clock at the Junior High school auditorium. The doors of the auditorium will open at seven-thirty o'clock. Piatigorsky has presented con certs throughout the world and Is rated as the greatest musician of 'cello artists. Passes Away Word has been received of the death at Venice, Calif., Nov. 8, of Will Kent, former Douglas county resident. He was born near Dillard, Dec. 5, 1874, the son of L C. and Dirilla Allen Kent. He owned and operated the Culver ranch In the Dillard dis trict for several years, but had resided in California for the past 33 years. He was a brother of Ike Kent, Lakeview; Jennie Edmunson, Ashland, Ore.; Ethel McKay and Annie Agee, Roseburg. . Funeral services and Interment were at Glendale, Calif. Not True Bills Dismiss Charges Against 2 Men Not true bills have been re turned by the Douglas county grand jury following investiga tions into complaints filed against Oscar Head, accused cf malicious ly wounding and injuring cattle, and Walter D. Noland, accused of obtaining money by false pre tenses. Charges against the two men were dismissed following the grand hirv's retxirt.
