Eouquets of red roses, snap dragons and marigolds decorated the rooms and table. Mrs. Frine was assisted by Mrs. Jones. SENIOR r.l AQQ RIICCTO OF MR. ANO MRS McGEE DAYS CREEK The mem bers of the senior class of Days Creek High school were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Guy McGee for a chicken dinner at Ford's Tuesday evening. Following the dinner the group returned to the McGee home where games and singing were enjoyed. Refreshments were served later in the evening to Maxine Wright, Robert Wright, Lois Matthews and Jean McGee by the host anil hostess. AZALEA COUPLE MARRY, MAY 26 AZALEA Petty Officer 1c Donald Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gaedecke of Azalea, were married Saturday, May 2ti. The ceremopy was performed In the presence of Mug Alice Place and Chief Storekeeper and Mrs. Paul Le Boui-veau In The Little Chapel of the Flowers at Berkeley, Calif.- with Rev. Mr. Lindarman officiating. The bride was attractive in a light blue suit with rose colored accessories and a corsage of or chids. There Is someone at the barn every Saturday, Sunday, 8UTHERLIN GRANGE HAS REGULAR MEETING SUTHERLIN The Sutherlin grange met last Thursday In the Methodist church parlors. Two new members, Kenneth Gleason and George Nealy were obligated at their regular meeting. The chairman of the home eco nomics department, Mrs. Fred Brauninger, reported on fat sal vage and Red Cross work. Sue also announced to the members that she has more Red Cross work to give out to anyone who is willing and can find time to do this type of work. The next food sale is scheduled for June 9, at the B. and E. Variety store. Tentative plans were made for a church visiting Sunday in the near future. Two other important decisions completed the deliberations; That a fall bazaar will be scheduled, and that the Sutherlln grange will sponsor a 4-H club scholar ship.
