Children's Care To Be Arranged by Welfare Board The Douglas county welfure commission Is arranging to aft I as a clearing house to establish contacts between people desirin? : to care for children and parents ) having children who need care j during working hours, it was re- j ported today. I The commission has been con-! tacted by a number of working I parents who are in need of assist ance in finding places where chil dren may receive care. At the same time, it Is reported, there are several homes In Roseburg where children are cared for dur ing working hours. Persons engaged In the care of children and having facilities fori handling a larger number are re quested to register with the wel fare commission nhnnn 31fi nf the courthouse In Roseburg. Par ents desiring to find places for their children also are requested to contact that office. The welfare commission, It was stated, will Inspect all homes reg istered to see that conditions are suitable, although no supervision or regulation will be undertaken.
