A. will on hold at four o'clock Monday at tho school Mouse with Mrs. C. E. Jump, president, in charge. Other new officers include: vice-president, Mrs. E. C. Patterson; secretary, Mrs. Clifford E. Smith, and treas urer, Mis. W. E. Sullivan. All parents are urged to attend the meeting and a special Invita tion has been extended to new parents to attend and got ac quainted with the members and teachers. JUNIOR-SENIOR HIGH P.-T. A. TO HOLD FIRST FALL MEETING MONDAY Parents and friends of the students of junior and senior high schools are invited to enjoy the first fall mooting of the P.-T. A. planned for Monday night at 8 o'clock at the junior high school building. Mrs. Leslie Roberts, new president, will conduct the session and a number of interest ing features have been planned for the dellghlful program. RUMMAGE SALE OPENS TODAY AND WILL CONTINUE SATURDAY The Lady Lions two-day rum mage sale opened today at the Sunset Thrift store on North Jackson street and will continue through Saturday. Mrs. Morton Hrown, Mrs. J. A. Hart and Mrs. Roy Sunderland are in charge of the two-day project. Throe hand made baby layettes, made by members of the club, will bo on sale in addition to numerous household articles and various types of clothing. MOTHERS CLUB HAS HAS FIRST FALL MEETING ' YONCALLA, Oct. 1 -The first meeting of the mothers club of Yonealla grade school was held Wednesday afternoon. Plans were made to hold a carnival in the near future. Motion made to purchase some new dishes for the dining room. Mot Iters will meet at the lunch room this week to can tomatoes for the hoi lunches. Mrs. Fred Soften was again elected cook for the coin ing season, and she will be al lowed assistant. Hot lunches will start the first of Nov.
