Kalph Haley arrived last Friday from Monroe, Louisiana, for a visit with his stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs. George irask, and other relatives and many friends. He is studying ground mechanics. He is leaving soon to take up his work again. Mrs. Jennie Whitford has been very ill at her home on Johnson and Pine sheets. Dunnavin, who has a large sheep ranch on upper I-ees creek, has a different complaint. He has a spare bridge, but the creek lew Its banks $t short distance above the bridge and cul a now channel through which it meanders with all the appearance of being er manrnlly settled. Mr. Dunnavin cannot cover it with his old bridge as the former-channel is drep enough to have lo tie cov ered. H. M.
