FIVE Roosevelt Signs B1H For Relief W Auto Dealers Loans on Rationed Articles Or Outright Buying After ' 18 Months Provided For WASHINGTON, May 13. (AP) Thousands of dealers in automobiles, trucks, tires and oth er goods being rationed may find eventual financial relief under legislation signed yesterday by President Roosevelt. Dealers would be assured cost, plus reasonable return for trans portation, storage, handling and servicing on articles, with a pro vision for payment of not less than retail prices if the article Is fikrtd lor 28 months without sale. Rationing Included One of the activities of the cor- poration will be to accept any do nations of tires which consumers might want to make to the gov ernment. Where tires are offered for sale, their value will be ap praised by the existing county tire ration boards and branches of the RFC. Payment will be made either in war bonds or stamps or . in cash if the tires are bought for government account. Some of the tires, apparently, will be held by the county tire ra tion boards for resale to persons needing tiros for essential trans portation and entitled to buy thom under the tire rationing system.
