Rlchter returned the last ol the week from Concrete, Wash., where she had been with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford ' Wolbert, for the past two weeks. ' Nancy Louise Wolbert, Infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs.' Wolbert, born March 10, passed away at the ago of ten days. Jim Combs has been working for the last two weeks at the Goodman ' and Briggs logging camp up Rock creek. Howard Brown went to the same camp Sunday morning to start work. Lewis Morris Is visiting his mother, Mrs. Frank Trueman Lewis has been working In Wash ington for the last two years. Mr. and Mrs. Blckriell and chil dren were visiting last week in Portland. ' Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Wilson of Myrtle Point spent the last week end at the Johnson mill with their son-ln-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Wilson. Mr. and Mrs. Brace Murray and two daughters of Vlda spent Sunday at the home of the form er's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Z. T. Murray. Mrs. Murray Is recover ing from a serious Illness. Charlie Lawson and son, Ken neth, were out from Roseburg Monday afternoon to call at the home of Mr .and Mrs. T. G. Law son. E. A. Britton, 4-H club leader, was out from Roseburg Monday to meet with the club members and leaders at the school house. Joe Wilson and Bud Heuhner of Tenmlle started work In the logging woods for Dee Coon the first of the week. ' Mr. and Mrs. Coons and family, who lived during the winter back of Jim Russell's place, have mov ed to Coos Junction. Loretta, stu dent in the "eighth grade, stays during the week with Mr. and Mrs, W. H. Ecklcs' and still' at tends school here. Mllo Woodworth, formerly resi dent of the valley, Is back again after spending a year or more in California. All those living on the proposed rural mail route are busy putting up mail boxes and preparing lor mail service. Regulations are that ninety must have mail boxes up by a certain time in April to secure the promised mall service.
