(Biddy) Bish op, whose connection with boxing dated back to the 1890 s, is dead. Bishop suffered a fatal heart attack last Saturday, but It was not until last night that he was Identified as a former boxing promoter in Seattle and Cincin nati, and one-time sports editor of a Tacomn, Wash., newspaper. The veteran sportsman, about 73, was born In San Francisco and boxed both as an amateur and a professional. In the early part of this cen tury he managed such fighters ns young Peter Jackson, Al Neill, then Pacific coast middleweight champion; Toby Irwin, now a prominent fight referee, and Au rello Herrera. Ho also trained Kid Lavlgue of Sagamore, Mich., former world's lightweight cham pion. In later years he managed Wildcat Carter of Everett, Wash, FREE!
