Mrs. Bob Heller nnd son, Tom my, of Pnsadena, Calif., and Ber niece Clarke arrived Tuesday evening to visit with relatives and friends for a few days. They are re turning to Wisconsin from Oak land, Calif., where they have been visiting Miss Smith's moth er and other relatives. Mrs. Nettle Theroux has pur chased the Variety store of Clara Winkleman and plans to open some time In September. She is now having some remodeling and redecorating done. Mr. nnd Mrs. Floyd Bufklns plan to lenve soon for Chlcngo where Mr. Bufkins will finish a course In refrigeration. Mrs. Bufklns is the daughter of Os car Webber. Mrs. C. B. Austin, Mrs. Alice Moore and Mrs. Delia Park spent Wednesday in Grants Pass. Allen Long spent Friday in Glendale attending to business. He has signed up for the army air corps and does not plant to teach this year. Miss IJonna Sorrels of Wil liams, Ore., Is spending the week with her uncle and aunt, Mr. nnd Mrs. R. I). Sorrels, nnd daughters, La Vern. Sunday at the L. J.
