The puffed sleeves had white satin cuffs while the bouf fant skirt was fashioned with a short train. Her finger tip length veil was one worn by her mother at Iter wedding twenty years ago. It was held in place by a head band of gardenias. Her shower bouquet was of gardenias and orchid gypsophllia. The maid of honor, the bride's sister, Miss Gene Rhoads, wore a gown of yelldw net over yellow satin, bhe carried a bouquet of orchid gladioli. The four brides maids wore formal length gowns in pastel shades made along simi lar lines. Miss Ruth Morgan of Medford, sister of the groom, wore green net over peach satin, Miss Nettie Moore of Roseburg, cousin of the bride, was dressed In rose net over blue. Miss Mar garet Smith of Medford was in rose net over white and Miss Ada Davis of Ashland wore green over yellow. Their bouquets were of gladioli "in paster shades and white gypsophllia. Little Miss Marlene Heard was a charming flower girl. She wore a floor length frock of white net. Her head band was of pink car nations and she carried a silver baskdt filled with rosebuds and gypsophllia. The. ring bearer was Dickie Thorntoni who carried the ring on a dark blue Velvet pillow. Dale Flowers of Medford at tended the' bridegroom as best riian vhlle the ushers were Jack Whltsett, Clifford Yaryan, Gene Perry and 'Eldridge Gray.' The hjide's mother, Mrs. Rhoads, wore a frock of dusty rose lace with 'White accessories. Her I corsane was of Dink and white I pentstemons. Mrs. William Mor-llng their home at 400 Liberty gan. of Medford, mother of the i street in Ashland. groom, was in green silk with a corsage of pink and white sweet peas. Mrs. Milford was in teal while Miss Etna Davis, who was in charge of the arrangements for the ceremony, wore rose net over matching taffeta. Her corsage al so being of rose colored flowers. - Following the ceremony a re ception for the bridal party, rela tives and intimate friends was ;held at the home of the bride's parents, about fifty being pres ent. The bride's table, covered with a lovely lace cloth over pink was centered by a beautifully decorated six-tiered wedding cake which was topped by a min iature bride and groom standing beneath an arch of rose colored carnations. The bride and groom cut the first pieces of cake while the maid of honor continued the cutting. Miss Etna Davis presided at the punch bowl and the brides maids assisted in serving. Flow ers tormed a most effective dec orative note about the rooms of the home. The floral arrangements at the church as well as the bouquets of tne oriue and her attendants were under the supervision of Mrs. J. Larkln Grubb. The bride has a host of friends In this vicinity as she made her home here for a number of years before moving to Ashland three years ago. She was a member of the 1938 graduating class of the local htgh school and later at tended the Southern Oregon Col lege of Education In Ashland.
