It had to do with the refugees from the dust howl, who went to Califor nia, and the difficulties that state had in earing for them. Mrs. Kimmel gave the Timely Talk, in place of Mrs. Margaret McGee, who was unable to attend. Seven members were present. The next meetin? will be at the Canyonville Bible academy, with Mrs. Edith Ackert as hostess, and Miss Lydia Reichen having the lesson. EASTER EGG HUNT INJOYED BY GROUP 1 CANYONVILLE, April 22. Mrs. O. I. Lewis, of the Shell Service station, staged an Easter egg hunt for the children of the community Sunday. About 50 children turned out for the af fair. Gene Neiswanger took the prize for finding the most eggs, and Dexter Garey got the con solation prize. MR. AND MRS. ASAM HAVE WEEK-END GUESTS GLIDE, April 22. DELIGHTFUL PARTY ENJOYED SATURDAY : CAMAS VALLEY, April 22. Mrs. T. G. Lawson entertained ;he members of her Sunday school class at an Easter party at her home Saturday afternoon. Games were enjoyed for a while after which the children hunted Easter eggs and later were served refreshments by Mrs. Lawson.
