It was the Cou enrs" third consecutive win over the Oregonians. The Cougars started the game with a 'rush and earlv in the first period ran up a large lead over their taller rivals. The Wehfoots, switching to n zone defense, whittled at the Cougar lead and reduceu it to 23 18 at the half. The Cougars started again with a rush in the second half and in the flint five minutes ran the rounl up to 28-1H. Two min utes later 'the Wehfoots were only one point behind and they went ahead on a push shot by liorcher 31-30. It was a dog fight from then nn with the' result in doubt un til the final gun. Center I.lndeman of the Cou gars was high scorer with 111 points. Borcher and Andrews led the Webfoots with -11 apiece.
