The newly completed bridge across Days creek has been re cently opened to traffic, It Is a very great Improvement over the former bridge which had been in use for a number of years as it eliminates two right angle turns in the highway. Complaint Against Rates On Prunes, Plums Loses WASHINGTON. Nov. AP An Interstate commission examiner recommended today dismissal of a complaint against railroad freight rates on fresh prunes and plums, in carloads, from Idaho and tho Milton-Freewater-Walla Walla dis trict of Oregon and Washington to destinations throughout the coun try. Complaints In the case included ihose by the utility-regulating agencies of Idaho and Oregon and various associations of growers and shippers in lduho, Oregon and Washington. Kxaminer J. P.
