Mr. flrlines, a pioneer of this rronnnunity, crossed the plains in 38(!:t and was married in Hosebugr, July 29, 1S90, The Grimes family resided near Hosehurg for about 25 years, before going to California, where Mr. (Jrfines engaged in farm log In Monterey and Sanat Clara counties. He has been a member of the Odd Fellows lodge lor 53 years. Ho was presented a gold pin jy his fellow members. On Sunday, Juno 30, Mr. and Mrs. Crimes were honored at a picnic In Oakland. Calif., at which time 40 relatives and friends wera pres ent. They recently returned to California, from a visit in Oregon with Mrs. Crimes' mother, Mrs. Lucretla Ollivant. CALAPOOIA CLUB PARTY ' IS ENJOYABLE AFFAIR The Calapoola club parly held Saturday night nt the hall was o very enjoyable affair of the com munity.
