About sixty attended the serv ice, which was presided over hy Mrs. C H. Wlckham. assisted by Mrs. R. L. Clle. Mrs. H. P. Sconce and Mrs. I,. KohlhuKn Sr. Vocal solos were sung hy Mrs. II ugh Whipple, accompanied hy Mrs. C, K. Hand, and Mrs. Hnrrfe liooth, accompanied hy Mrs. Clydf Carstnns. Mrs. liomer Grow pre sented a whiHtltnp number and played for selections furnished during the Christian church unit st'i vice. Very inspiring talks were riven by Dr. Morris II. Hoach, of the First Presbyterian church; Hew John A. Harney, of the First Christian church; Dr. Louis Magln. of the Methodist church, und ttev. II. P. Sconce, of the First Baptist church. Women of the various churches took part In the prayer service, which was led by Mrs. B. .. Kddy with Mrs. Wlckham clos ing the service. EASTERN STAR POTLUCK SUPPER. TO BE THURSDAY RoReburg chapter No.' 8 of the Oregon Eastern Star will hold a pot luck supper at six-thirty o'clock Thursday night at the temple for all members, their husbands and veiling members. . Riegcl, hospital service chairmnn for the Hoseburg area, left Sunday for Tucson, Arizona, to nttend the annual rehabilita tion conference in area K of the national organization to he held Wednesday and Thursday and to be followed on Friday sind Satur day by the child welfUro cooler ence for the same area. Chairmen of the 13 departments In the western division will submit rejiortrt on their accomplishments to ilatn and participate in u round table discussion for the purpose of presenting new ideas to the lend ers in order that the two major projects of the auxiliary child wel fare and rehabilitation may bo served more clfectlvely.
