Miner, 51, Oklnhoma railroad worker who confessed stealing his niece in 1129. was delayed a week yester dav by Superior Judge Arthur T. LoPrade. Miner said he took Alice Vestal, then, a minor, from her home to Pirher. Okia.. where he married her in 1932. Moore, at Creen Valley, last night. He was born in Missouri, March 31, 1853, and came to Oregon and Douglas county when he was a young man. Mr. I hornton taught school for some years in the Nonpareil vicin ity, where he married liehecca H. Hunt in 1.S75. After his marriage he purchased n farm and operat ed it until about 20' years ago, when he retired.
