The auxiliary to Ihe Veterans of For eign Wars and their invited guests made all Terpsichore's devotees happy. Wednesday night we practiced Pock-O among ourselves while our town friends rested after their holiday festivities. At the next party everybody will he familiar with the new game, so that play ers may progress from table to table. Thursday evening we saw "(live Me a Sailor." It was a slapstick comedy in which A loves It. but It loves C, and C is interested in !. Martha Ruye and Rob Hope play ed their usual tricks, and every body or nearly everybody laugh ed. Friday was the date for one of the stage entertainments arrang ed for the hospital by the cham ber of commerce, but. as the direc tor was unable to fill his appoint ment, Miss Helen Casey kindly or ganized an Impromptu program at the eleventh hour. The diversified numbers were very enjoyable and we call Miss Casey a real- friend. PAST MATRONS CLUB TO MEET MONDAY The Past Matrons club of Rose burg Chapter of Eastern Star will meet at a 7:30 o'clock dessert-supper at the R. D.
