PASSPORT OF 1844 GAINS PENSION FOR WOMAN LOS ANGKI.KS (API Back In 1S44 old uge pensions were not a live Issue, hut a passport of that date has just won a pension for an 81-year-old woman. The passport was issued to her parents, en route to Syria as mis sionaries. On their return in 1S56 the present pensioner was born on the high sens, and the passort is Hie only document she has to prove the story of her American parenlage.
