To be eligible for tho loan, each member of an engaged pair must be under 26 yearn of age. Repay ment must begin within a year af ter marriage if no children lutve been born. A variety of tax laws were pass ed, without mention of the amounts involved, to induce marriage and propagation ot targe families.
