Vi cup parsley H teaspoon salt A cup onion 1 tomato 1 tableapoon barley Clean and slice vegetables, a'ld with other Ingredients, to 4 quarts MINCEMEAT (2 Pies) ' MRS. W. H. CORDON Roseburg, Ore. Mix 1 chopped apple; H c ral sins; H c currants; c butter; 1 T molasses; 1 T boiled cider; 1 c sugar; 1 t cinnamon; H t cloves; Vi grated nutmeg; H t mace and 1 t salt Add enough stock In which meat was boiled to moisten. Heat gradually to boiling point and then simmer 1 nr. Add 1 c chopped meat and 3 T barbefry Jelly. Variation: Omit eggs. Add 1 c chopped apples; H t salt; only "4 t cinnamon.
