Vi cup parsley
H teaspoon salt
A cup onion
1 tomato
1 tableapoon barley
Clean and slice vegetables, a'ld
with other Ingredients, to 4 quarts
MINCEMEAT (2 Pies) '

Mix 1 chopped apple; H c ral
sins; H c currants; c butter; 1
T molasses; 1 T boiled cider; 1 c
sugar; 1 t cinnamon; H t cloves;
Vi grated nutmeg; H t mace and 1
t salt Add enough stock In which
meat was boiled to moisten. Heat
gradually to boiling point and then
simmer 1 nr. Add 1 c chopped meat
and 3 T barbefry Jelly.
Variation: Omit eggs. Add 1 c
chopped apples; H t salt; only "4
t cinnamon. Mix all together and
bake with 2 crusts. Place In rather
hot oven, reduce heat. Bake 1 hr.

Sutherlin Sunday morning, where

group then went to Oakland, where
Dr. Dunn gave the morning service

afternoon assisted Rev. Linden
Levitt at the Kincaid funeral. At

annual basket dinner and church
gathering was held at noon, follow
ing the services, and others at
