W. K. Ott and his orchestra will play salon music from a secluded sec tion of the terrace overlooking the gardens, and Allen Cordon, popular accordion player, will furn ish numbers. ' A special attraction is being planned In the form of a booth for a handwrltng expert. .The lawns of the garden are es pecially lovelv at this time of the year and the many hlgb shrubs and trees furnish ample shade. 1 he rockeries are a mass of bloom of bright summer flowers and the South Umpqua river, at the back of the garden, lends attractiveness to the beautiful setting. Mrs. L. K. McCllutock, who has charge of the garden furniture, has arranged for a large number of large garden umbrellas, bright-colored chairs, swings, tables, and lounges. The three tea tables will be decorated by Mrs. C. B. Wade, Mrs. H. C. Waddell and Mrs. H. O. Pargeter, and will carry out the Spanish mo tif with gay-colored linen cloths, pottery ware dishes and flowers of multi-colored nasturtiums. The punch will be In charge of Mrs. Willard Johnson and Mrs. L. A. Dillard, who will be assisted in serving by Fanny Lu Wimberly, Madlyn Stearns, Mary Joan Park inson, Lota Hatfield, Joyce Bridges, Virginia Young, Mildred Grimm, Joan PerkinB,' Patsy Reigal, Doro thy Lilliard, Evelyn Van Voorst and Evelyn Kurtz.
