Imperial approval of the peace appeal followed an announcement that an Italian plane bombed a British ambulance camp yesterday near Quorum, 30 miles south of Am hi A lull, oil the northern front. This announcement Bam the fas cist plane dropped 40 high explo sives, killed three patients instant ly and wounded tour who died lat er. None of the ambulance person nel was reported injured. Investiga tion revealed a hole in the wall between his cell and the store room, and further search disclos ed the convict hiding in the room. Another small hole was found In the wall between Poe's cell and that occupied by Davis. Daugherty was sentenced from Coos county October 1, 1935, for .10 years. His record shows he has participated In 11 previous prison breaks. At the expiration of his 1 sentence here he will be returned I to Idaho to complete his life term, j Davis was sentenced to IS years i imprisonment from Deschutes coun-1 ty June 1, 1935. Poe was received at the penitentiary July 28, 1932, from Marlon county.
