In the volleyball game, the Sutherlin girls won from the Myrtle Creek girls, leading the southern district by a score of 40 to 17. In the basketball game between the two high school teams the first half was played on fairly even terms, but Myrtle Creek opened up a second half rally to win 2u to 10.
