Receives Bad Cut on Foot Os car Shockley, of Ilonglin. suffered a severe injury yesterday, when the axe with which he was cutting wood slipped and gashed his right foot. He was brought to Roseburg and given medical aid by Dr. George E. Hollek. Mr. Shocklny was working on Dr. Dean's house nt Idlyld at the time of the acci dent. Visitors Will Enjoy Day at Coast Rev. J. Cosliow, of Portlnnd. is spend ing a short time in this city visit ing relatives and friends and at tending to business affairs. Judge Cosliow, a former Roseburg nnd Salem resident, recently moved to Portland, where he Is living in the Campbell Court hotel. His office is located in the Terminal Sales building, which is the headquar ters for the Empire Holding Corp.. of which Judge Coshow is president. Back From California Mrs. M. C.
