Mr. Hallmark was elected president ot the league and ' Richard Levy secretary-treasurer. A financial report was presented and team lists were read and ap proved. The league plays its second i series of games at the senior high school gymnasium Wednesday starting at 6:45 p m. i The first game ts to be played I between the faculty and Methodist church teams. The faculty team is composed of teachers in the city schools, including the athletics I coaches. The team is an unknown quantity as it drew a bye last week und did not appear in the first round. Consequently considerable interest is being shown. The second game is to be played between Spencer's and the Chris tian church team, and promises to be a fast scrimmage, as both ot these organizations have had con siderable practice. The Lions club plays the national guard in the final match. These two teams, judging from last week's games, are about evenly matched and should stage an in teresting contest. Douglas County O. S. T. A., wa In charge of the meeting, at which time a report was given on the association meeting recently held in Portland. Mrs. Kdlth S. Ackert, Douglas county school superinten dent, was also present. Glide, Cam as Valley, Canyonville, Oakland, Sutherlin, Riddle and Roseburg were represented at the meeting. SCOUT HONOR COURT TO AWARD BADGES The Roy Scout court of honor is to meet tonight at the county courthouse at 7:30 o'clock to pass on promotions and merit badges. The court will be conducted by Guy Cordon, with the chairmen of troop committees and Ir. G. ('. Finlay sitting as judges, lioys pars ing to the second class division will receive luO points to he ap plied on the contest being started this month, while promotion kj first class will rate 1"0 points an.
