Councilman Hasye proposed that anyone giving a false alarm or sounding the siren except tor fire purposes be guilty of a misdemean or ami he fined accordingly, but action on ttiis was deferred to an other meeting. Several com plaints regarding siray hursep and cattle were heard by ihe council and a stricter eiiv forcemeat of Clendale's estray or- dlna nee asked. The (Ilendale Vol unteer Fire Department members were given police powers to en force this nrdinanc with the prom ise dial any fees or fines collected in this connection will be turned over to the fire department for equipment purchases.
