The vote was unanimous. In the hearing Lee, who Is an aa fiociattt justice In the Idaho su preme court, gafd that a few valu ation canes of water companies bad been before the court andndd- d that he bad repreaented the Northern Pacific railroad in local case when their trains had run over cows. Asked his views on railroad valuations, I,ee replied: "I don't know whether I have ' any i could unqualifiedly express. 1 think ft ought to be a ralr value." He added that he had no formu la by which valuation could be de termined. Asked what he thought about consolidations of railroads, the witness replied that he bad no opinion and that he had given lit tle study to the question except what he had read tn newspapers.
