Kgg supplies am ex,;Lt led 10 le main low and egg pruvs tu ue well maintained ihiough tiie full but probable increases9- u pro J action in the late winter aWl spring seem likely to reduce prices somewhat beiow the It vein ot a y--.ii- nrlii-r, unless an exceptional ,n .portion ot the flocks aie marketed mis lall. The increase of lo per cent In the number of young chickens on hand July 1 indicates larger mar ketings of pouliiy tiiis tall and winter, limn a year ago, according to the report. This increase' in marketings may be augmented be cause ot the protpective higher prices of lued. and the general lateness of this year's hatch, and restricted Eomewhat because of a tendency- (o iiuwease numbers of hens iu laying flocks. Smaller expected layings during Mie last Jiall of the year than last year and extieuiely light storage leserves point to higher egg price this fall. Inning the winter months the reduced storage supplies will tend to be ofset by increased pro duction of vkz. due to increased numbers of birds in laying flocks. The unmual price advance which occurred last February reflected exceptional weather conditions and is mil likely to be repeated this winter. It is uncertain whether for the winter as a whole egg prices will average us high as they did last winter. Prices of eggs next spring should be expected to be : onicwhat low er thim last spring, on account of the probable increase in the supply that will result from the increase in production of chick ens this year unless producers cull drastically and semi an exceptional Who said it ain't nonna ram no mo : BUT the chap with a Certain-teed Shingle roof over his home doesn't have to worry about rains, snows, sleet or what-notl For, Certain-tccd Shingles are just made to fight weathering. They are fire-resistant, too. And the charm of their softly warm colorings will endure through years, being non-fading natural colors. Ccrtain'teed Shingles For New or Old Homes Perhaps you plan to build . . . our advice is to con sider Certnin-teed Mineral-Surfaced Shingles for that roof. Perchance you (or the neighbors) have noted ugly streaks, cracks, warpings on the old roof . . . Again our recommendation is a suitable Certain-teed Shingle. Use This Servicel For any repairing, removing or building problems, our experience in this line should be highly useful to you. It is yours for the asking.
