The excellent wealher that has been prevailing at the beach for several days Is expected' to Herve as a magnet to great throngs from the inland, who will take advantage of Hnmton's facili ties for bathing, boating, fishing and other beach sportB. The season hns already made a fine start, and a big attendance has been enjoyed so far. Bandon's reputation Is spreading rapidly, so that ea'h year the number of vis itors at the beach grows very noticeably, particularly since the system of fine roads makes the beach more accessible. Starting with today's is3ue the News-Review is publishing each week a resort pane, dealing with the activities at ttie various moun tain, river and beach resorts in Douglas aud neighboring counties. Arrangements are being made, as rapidly as possible, for complete news reports regarding the many Interesting places open in this vic inity lor recreation, and managers and proprietors are requested to report such events as may be of public interest in order that the tacim.es of this locality for vaca tion purposes may he given wider publicity. The Handon resort has become particularly interested in the plan and as a great many Roseburg peo ple visit the Bandon beach at fre quent intervals, It is believed that the county readers will be interest ed In the reports from that popular place, and ao arrangements have been made for a special corre spondent who will report on condi tions and events of interest. Other resorts, closer home, are also becoming interested and it Is (hoped will cooperate in the effort I to let the world know what Doug jlas county has to offer in the way of recreation.
