ing preparations to entertain a
large crowd of visitors on Me
morial Day. The excellent wealher
that has been prevailing at the
beach for several days Is expected'
to Herve as a magnet to great
throngs from the inland, who will
take advantage of Hnmton's facili
ties for bathing, boating, fishing
and other beach sportB.
The season hns already made a
fine start, and a big attendance
has been enjoyed so far. Bandon's
reputation Is spreading rapidly, so
that ea'h year the number of vis
itors at the beach grows very
noticeably, particularly since the
system of fine roads makes the
beach more accessible.

Arrangements are being made, as
rapidly as possible, for complete
news reports regarding the many

and proprietors are requested to
report such events as may be of
public interest in order that the

The Handon resort has become
particularly interested in the plan
and as a great many Roseburg peo
ple visit the Bandon beach at fre
quent intervals, It is believed that
the county readers will be interest
