A. Lindgren and Dr. J. N. Shaw of the college extension service, in cooperation, with the county agent's office. The steam ship President Adams of the Dol lar line, bound for San Francisco by way of the Panuma canal, struck a reef outside of the Cristo bal breakwater today and went aground. At nine o'clock this morn ing three tugs began . trying to pull her free. The President Adams left Hus ton on Dec. 30 and New York on Jan 3 w ith 90 passengers for Mar seilles by way of Havana and San Francisco, calling also at far east and Meditteranean ports en route. Most of the passengers, it was Raid at the Dollar Line offices, were making the complete trip. A few were to disembark at Havana and San Francisco.
