He was married in Hoseburg, to Miss Grace l'reschern, a membe of (a w ell known Douglas county family, and lo the union was born two sons, Victor J., and Albert H., who with Mrs. Mlcelll still survive and make their homes in this city. Mr. Mlcelll gave a number of years of service to the city of Koschurg, serving- In a most able and efficient manner in several re sponsible positions. Councilman Six Years, lie was elected councilman In 1!hh; and was made chairman of Ihe slreel- commit lee, serving for three terms in that capacity, dur ing which time Ihe first pavement was laid in Ihe city, and (lit; street and sewer prograni adopted. Mr. MicelH was greatly interested in Ibis work and took a great deal of time from his business lo actlve fy engage in sponsoring and super vising these improvements.
