Held, the only one of, the seven middle western qualifiers to sur vive the first two rounds, elimin ated Harold Thompson, Los Ange les, and Chuck Hunter of Tacoma. A hard struggle between the two old rivals, Forest Watson of Spo-' kane'and Dr. 0. F.
