KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.; April 13. A monument to one of : the bitterest civic controversies ever waged in the northwest, a muni cipal fight that waged for years and finally came to an end in the state supreme court, will soon be a thing of the past when the half completed Hot Springs courthouse which has long overlooked Klam ath Falls 'will be razed to make room for the ?300,000 Union high school building that will bey built this year. ' The- Klamath court house fight came to an end four years ago, but on top of Hot Springs hill stood an ever present reminder of the folly of municipal strife. Over ?70.0'00, was s;nt on the building before it was abandoned in favor of the present main street court house. Ten years later, the county is forced to pay S1.793.S8 the successful bid of the W. D. Miller Construction company to remove the old building. Mllier is given all the material.
