The advance in the local turkey market has slowed down considerably and this morning' there ' were indica tions of a reaction. At a late hour fancy dressed birds were- still bringing 47 cents,, but there are many good birds priced up at 45 and 46 cents. Receipts are not heavy but every house has a few turkeys and buyers are not taking hold so readily now. Some buyers are holding off, waiting to see how the public takes hold of the high priced birds before they get the re mainder of their requirements.
