Turkey Prices Today
' (AMoclated Pna laml Win.)
PORTLAND, Ore., Nor. 24. The
advance in the local turkey market
has slowed down considerably and
this morning' there ' were indica
tions of a reaction. At a late hour
fancy dressed birds were- still
bringing 47 cents,, but there are
many good birds priced up at 45
and 46 cents. Receipts are not
heavy but every house has a few
turkeys and buyers are not taking
hold so readily now. Some buyers
are holding off, waiting to see how
the public takes hold of the high
priced birds before they get the re
mainder of their requirements.
