One big Issue remains unsettl ed France's guarantee for Po land and this was discussed pri vately and with progress today by M. Hriand, Dr. 8treaemann and Count Skrsynsky, the French. Ger man and Polish foreign ministers, prior to the plenary session of the conference. A communique Issued after today's session, said: "Clarifications and precisions requested by the German delega tion In the conference upon the question of the league brought about a general exchange of views and explanations. This exchange resulted In progress of the work of the conference toward the adoption of a satisfactory solu tion."
