FARM BUREAU COOPERATIVE EXCHANGE ROSMURO DRESSMAKING AND MILLINERY COURSE MAY BE STARTED The state department of Voca tional Education with the aid of federal funds Is helping both minors and adults In Oregon- in many ways. In various schools there are subsidies for Industrial art work, printing, home econo mies and agriculture. lioseburg High School receives from the government one-half of the agri culture teacher's salary. The purpoet of such assistance Is to create greater Interest In voca tions and to make men and wo men better workmen. A good proportion of Oregon'a Allotment is expended -to educate adults In their crafts and home employments. Three years ago a course of this training. Two classes have been held in Auto Mechanics. Classes are now being held at Marshfield snd Eugene for individuals Id the plastering trade. The Supervisor of the Home Economics department has been in Roseburg the past week Inter esting women in a six weeks course in dressmaking and milli nery. A woman of exceptional trainng and experience will con duct this work which will prob ably be carried on in the high school bulding. The supervisor will return to Roseburg on next Thursday, October 15th, and will meet at 2:30 'p. m. on that date at the high school bulding, all ladles who are Interested In this phase of home making.
