Fifty or more members of the Rose hurt; lodge will drive down from here, and the number will be augmented by thirty-five or more local numbers residing In Port land, so that the city will make a good showing. Some are already In ; Portland, while others will go th ; first of the week. The local Odd Fellows will take tho Hose burg i juvenile band to the convention on Wednesday to participate in the ; great parade. The band will leave here at 4 a. m. on Wednesday morning, a large bus having been chartered to trans port the thirty or more youthful musicians, who will piny under the direction of Walter Cermaine. The boys will appear In the parade in the afternoon on Wednesday and will start back Thursday morning. A committee has been appointed to ehnperone the bovs while In Portland and they will be well car ed for while away. They will be given reservations at the Rainier hotel, and If any of them have rel atives with whom they desire to spend the night, members of the chaperoning committee will see that they reach their destination safely and ar brought back to the hotel In time for the Ptart home on Thursday. Kntertalnment will also be provided for thxm on Wed nesday nlKht. The entire Itosehurg delegation will mark In th pr.n'de. together with the band. The Muscovite pa trol team will march in uniform, i although It will not participate In ' the competitive drill. The meeting of the Sovereign firand Lndg'i will bring together thousands of people from all over the United States and the different provinces of Canada There also will be representatives present from Auftrialasia. Cuba and other distant points. While there are but a limited numb r of representatives from each of the grand Jurisdic tions, there will bo numerous de gree and drill teams on hand to compete for the prizes. This team, which is composed of about fifty young women, will compete for the prize in the itebekah degree. Another Itebt'kah team coming from the east Is Vera Itebt'kah I.ode No. 12, of HHena, Montana. There are a num ber of other Itebt'kah teams from Canada and Washington.
