Twelve contestants in di vision one, 12 In division 2 and 10 in division three made a total of 34 youthful declaimers, w ho represent ing, as each did, the winner in each sectional contest, indicates a grow ing interest in declamation work in the county. Young and wife, representing H. O. Proce and com pany, a Seattle advertising con cern, were in the city today. Cap tain Young was one of the Ameri can fliers during the World War, enlisting with the Canadian flying corps in 1!)15 and being transferred to the V. S. flying corps following the entrance of this country into the struggle. He Is the sole survi vor of the battle of six American planes and 12 German planes at Verdun.
